Barbate Eclipse Village is being developed as an organised vehicle-based base for the 2027 total eclipse. The idea is straightforward: arrive on 1 August, stay inside the totality zone and avoid making the entire plan depend on finding parking on eclipse morning.

Five vehicle categories

The current commercial categories are car/SUV, car plus tent, campervan/van, motorhome up to 6 metres and motorhome over 6 metres. Vehicle type matters because larger units change site capacity, circulation and emergency-lane requirements.

Current published prices

The app currently lists €500 for car/SUV, €750 for car plus tent, €650 for campervan/van, €750 for motorhome up to 6 metres and €900 for motorhome over 6 metres. A €375 promotional price is referenced until 31 October 2026. Commercial conditions remain subject to the official terms published by EclipseSpain.net.

What the current form does

The form is a pre-registration, not a confirmed booking. It records contact details and vehicle type so the project can measure demand. No payment is collected. When formal contracting opens, interested users can be contacted with the information needed to complete payment and secure a place.

Services and operation

The planned concept includes managed access, overnight vehicle areas, toilets and washbasins, shade, shared areas, food provision, information and a dedicated observation zone. Final scope depends on permits, safety requirements, environmental measures and the approved site layout.

Environmental commitment

The project does not promise “zero impact”. The operational principle is to prevent, minimise, measure, clean and correct: manage waste, protect sensitive biodiversity, limit unnecessary noise and light, prevent fire, control sanitation and complete a verifiable final clean-up.
